From what i have heard octopus are mostly coldwater. I was wondering if they would do fine in a reef with anemones and gorgonians. My guess is they would. But what about the fish? I know next to nothing on octopus. I do know they are invertebrate eaters though and feeding them crabs wouldnt be a problem.

Who Loves Cuttles?

I don't have a cuttle and probably never will as they are very hard to keep in captivity and very rare to buy.

However, they are facinating! There was a show on them on PBS a month or two ago and I was hooked. (Pardon the expression!) http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/camo/ There's plenty online, but here is wiki's page on them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuttlefish

Octopus Utilizes Coconuts

I am sure you guys have heard of this but it's so cool that they do it. The only invertebrates to have utilized tools. I would bing it if you want to learn more.

Octopuses have been discovered tip-toeing with coconut-shell halves suctioned to their undersides, then reassembling the halves and disappearing inside for protection or deception, a new study says.
