Official Rules for POTM, TOTM & CSOTM

TOTM - Tank of the Month i.e. Monthly Reef Profiles

- Contest begins the first day of every month and ends the last day of every month
- Only on tank entry per user; users may enter tanks in more than one contest
- Winners of TOTM will be entered into TOTY which will take place the month of December
- Submission Requirements

• Must have an active tank thread
  
• Must have 50 posts or more prior to entering
  
• Tanks submitted can be tropical or temperate but must be marine
  
• Winners will be asked to fill out reef profile with the following information: How long the tank was set up, tank stocking list, tank specs, feeding schedules, and other information that would like to be included.

Aquarium Size: 7 U.S. Gallons

Aquarium Stocking List: Fish - Catalina Goby Pair
Corals - Orange Cup Coral
Anemones - Dahlia Anemones
Other Inverts - Common Shore Crab, Hermit Crabs, Whelk Snail

Aquarium Specs: The tank has been set up for about one year. I feed twice a day with mysis in the morning and bits of brine and flake in the afternoon. For the inverts i feed a plankton mix as well as pieces of silverside. I am running a canister filter designed for a 100 gallon aquarium to deal with the high waste output from feeding.

Other: I plan on upgrading the tank and currently am preparing for the algae bloom in the spring.

POTM - Photo of the Month

- Contest begins the first day of every month and ends the last day of every month
- Only on photo entry per user; users may enter more photos in more than one contest
- Winners of POTM will be entered into POTY which will take place the month of December

• Must be an active user of TR
  
• Must have 20 posts or more prior to entering
  
• Photos submitted must be aquarium related. Photos entered that aren't will be deleted

CSOTM - Collecting Spot of the Month

- Contest begins the first day of every month and ends the last day of every month
- Only on photo/video entry per user; users may enter more photos in more than one contest
- Winners of CSOTM will be entered into CSOTY which will take place the month of December

• Must be an active user of TR
  
• Must have 20 posts or more prior to entering
  
• Photos/Videos submitted must be of collecting spots where livestock, aquarium decor, etc. are collected.
  
• Contest winners will be asked to give a short description of collecting spot

Submit entries to TR by sending an e-mail to trcontest@live.com with the following information.
- Username
- Contest submitting to (TOTM/POTM/CSOTM)
- Required Information (if submitting to TOTM)

*Contests are for amusement only and there are no prizes currently being offered. Rules are subject to change.
