Aquarium Environment –
The Scrawled cowfish is one of the shy members of
the ostraciid family. Therefore when design the tank of this cowfish it
is
important to that they have caves or other retreats incorporated into
the
aquascaping. Live rock should also be used because it helps with the
water
quality and provides areas of foraging.
Other -
This species changes greatly in color from when it is a juvenile to
when it is an adult. As juveniles they are yellow with blotches of blue
however as they age they lose the yellow as it gradually fades to a
duller color
